Voyage of the Raven

To our Viking Ancestors, the raven was a symbolic and magical creature. They were seen as good luck on the high seas and in battle. Since this magical bird was believed to be the eyes and ears of the Norse god Odin, you can find the raven symbol on many longship sails. But the raven also served a more practical purpose. When Vikings were exploring at sea, they’d release a raven. If it did not return, they knew that land was nearby. Predominantly matured in first-fill sherry seasoned oak casks, Voyage Of The Raven offers exquisite flavours of black cherry, hints of dark chocolate, ginger, and citrus, all rounded off with our distinctive aromatic smokiness. It was bottled at 41.3% ABV and first released in 2017 exclusively for sale in Duty-Free.
