What is YESNABY?
YESNABY is the fourth release in The Keystones Series which explores and celebrates our five traditional keystones of production that have remained unchanged for 220 years.
YESNABY highlights the importance of location and the impact of the local climate. It’s named after the dramatic cliffs on Orkney’s Atlantic coastline, the final point on land before Greenland, and demonstrates how Orkney’s unique temperate climate – with lows of only 2°C in winter to 16°C in summer – shapes Highland Park’s intensely balanced flavour.
Gordon Motion, our Master Whisky Maker, selected and married three 2005 vintage, first-fill sherry seasoned American oak casks from our most northerly warehouse where they have enjoyed a long and even-paced maturation, free from extremes of temperature. A deep burnished gold in colour with notes of rich vanilla and sweet heathery smoke, YESNABY delivers a finish that is light, woody and spicy.

YESNABY was created by Gordon Motion, our Master Whisky Maker.
How many bottles will be available?
A total of 1,200 bottles of YESNABY will be available for sale – the same as for each of editions in The Keystones Series.
Where and when will it be available?
YESNABY is due to be released for sale at the end of February 2018 exclusively for members of our Inner Circle to buy direct from our online shop. For the chance to purchase this special edition single malt, members have to have registered their interest by midnight (UK time) on Monday 19 February 2018.
How can I register my interest in purchasing YESNABY?
The opportunity to register to purchase YESNABY is only available to existing members of the Inner Circle. Details of how to register will be included in an email due to be sent to members on Tuesday 6 February 2018. The registration period will be open until midnight (UK time) on Monday 19 February 2018. In order to receive this email, you must have completed the sign-up process for the Inner Circle before 9.00am (UK time) on Monday 5 February 2018.
I am a member of the Inner Circle but have not received the email about registering interest in purchasing YESNABY.
If you have completed the sign-up process for Inner Circle prior to 9.00am (UK time) on 5 February you should have received an email on 6 February including details of how to register for the opportunity to purchase YESNABY. How will I know if my registration of interest in purchasing YESNABY has been received?
To you register your interest in YESNABY just click on the link in the email sent on 6 February. This will take you to a webpage with a form including your email and postal address. Please check that these details are correct, then tick the box below to accept our terms & conditions, and finally click submit. You should then see an onscreen message and receive a confirmation email from Highland Park shortly after. If you have not received a confirmation email, please check your SPAM or junk mail box. Do I also need to be registered with the Highland Park online shop to purchase a bottle of YESNABY?
No, although registering on our online shop in advance will speed up the process of completing your order if you are successful in securing a bottle. You can register by following this link https://shop.highlandparkwhisky.com/account/register . We moved to a new online shop in September 2017 so if you created your account before then, you will need to register again.
How will I know if I am successful in securing the opportunity to buy?
If at the end of the registration period demand for YESNABY exceeds the number of bottles available, a random ballot will be run by an independent third party. All customers who successfully secure the chance to buy YESNABY will receive an email with their own personal code along with a link to the YESNABY page on the Highland Park online shop. This is due to be sent out at the end of February and will be valid for 7 days.
If I am successful in the ballot, how do I complete my order?
If you are successful in securing the chance to buy YESNABY you will receive an email with your own personal code along with a link to the YESNABY page on the Highland Park online shop. All you need to do is follow the link and verify your personal code from the email. You will then be prompted to add the bottle of YESNABY that has been reserved for you to your basket. Please do not refresh the page or use the browser back button before completing your order as the code is locked for 30 minutes once verified to ensure it can only be used once. If you want to purchase other items form our online shop at the same time as YESNABY, you can add them to your basket after you have added your bottle of YESNABY.
I didn’t register my interest in purchasing YESNABY in advance. Can I still buy a bottle?
Unfortunately not. Due to the very limited nature of this release we decided that the fairest approach was to invite existing Inner Circle members to register their interest in advance and, if demand exceeds supply, run a ballot to select those who would be given the opportunity to buy. How much will YESNABY cost?
YESNABY will be available at a UK price of £75 for a 70cl bottle. For orders delivered to addresses outside the UK, the price will vary due to local sales taxes and duties. All orders will be subject to a delivery charge which will vary by country based on the standard rates applied for a tracked package applied by our delivery partner, DHL. How many bottles can I buy?
Due to the very limited nature of this release, orders of YESNABY are restricted to one bottle per household to ensure as many Inner Circle members as possible have the opportunity to buy.
Will it be possible to buy YESNABY from the Highland Park Distillery?
No – in order to help us manage demand and make the process as fair as possible, YESNABY will only be available to purchase online by Inner Circle members who register their interest in advance.
Why is YESNABY not being released to buy from the distillery shop at the same time as was the case with HOBBISTER (the first release in The Keystones Series)?
Our distillery shop is small and is not set up to deal with a large number of people arriving at one time to buy a particular product, as happened with Hobbister and previous special edition whiskies. Learning from this experience, we decided to release the remaining editions in the Keystones series, including YESNABY, exclusively to Inner Circle members who register their interest in advance. This allows us to manage demand more efficiently and fairly to ensure that as many members as possible have the opportunity to buy.

This link will be valid for 7 days after which time, if you have not purchased, the bottle will be released for another Inner Circle member to buy. Therefore no further action is required. I have received an email with a purchase code but I am experiencing problems completing my order.
If you receive an error message saying that your order could not be completed, please check you have entered all details correctly. Which countries can YESNABY be delivered to?
As with all whiskies sold on our online shop we are able to offer delivery of YESNABY to Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and the Channel Islands. Unfortunately, for legal reasons we not able to offer delivery to other countries at this stage although we are continuing to work on a solution to this.
Do I have to be a resident of these countries to purchase?
This whisky can only be delivered to addresses within Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and the Channel Islands. However you do not need to be a resident of these countries to purchase providing you can give a shipping address within one of them.
Why is YESNABY not available for delivery to my country?
There are different legal issues that affect our ability to deliver whisky ordered online to addresses outside the UK. We are continuing to work on a solution that will allow us to deliver to a wider range of countries in the future.
What extra charges might apply for delivery to my chosen country?
All alcohol products we sell are subject to UK alcohol tax. If we are exporting products to an address in the European Union (EU) prices are subject to the appropriate rate of VAT and alcohol tax depending on the delivery country.
For all deliveries outside of the EU, UK VAT will not be charged. However, your order will be subject to local sales taxes and duties upon arrival in your chosen country, which are levied at the time the package clears customs. All additional charges are the responsibility of the recipient. As customs policies vary widely from country to country, we have no control over these charges. Please contact your local customs office for further information.
When will I receive my bottle?
We expect most orders to be delivered within 10 working days. If you have not received your bottle within 10 working days of ordering please contact email [email protected].
Who will deliver my bottle?
Your order will be fulfilled by our fulfilment partners Mail Marketing UK and it will be delivered by DHL.
Can I specify a delivery date?
After your order you will receive a shipment notification from DHL which will allow you to track your delivery and delay delivery until a specific delivery date using the holiday hold option.
Can I collect my bottle purchased online from the Highland Park Distillery?
At this time we cannot offer collection of whisky ordered online from the distillery.
What is the process if I want to return my purchase of YESNABY?
If you wish to return products which are not damaged, please contact us on [email protected] with details of your order within 7 days of delivery of the goods. Any returned products must be returned to us in good condition, with all packaging intact.
My order has not arrived – what is going on?
We expect most orders to be delivered within 10 working days. If it has been over 10 working days since you placed your order please contact email [email protected] and we will come back to you with an update as soon as we can.
It’s been over 10 working days since I placed my order and it has still has not been delivered – what is going on?
We are very sorry to hear that you have experienced a delay in receiving your order. Please email [email protected] and we will come back to you with an update as soon as we can.
My bottle of YESNABY is damaged, can you help?
If upon delivery of your order, the goods are damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 3 working days of receipt by emailing [email protected] . Please provide as much information as possible including your order number and details of any damage including photographs. We will do our best to provide a replacement if available. If a replacement is not available we will refund the full cost of the item only. No compensation will be paid.
I am also interested in buying the three previous releases in The Keystones Series (Hobbister, Shiel and Quercus), do you have any bottles available to buy?
Unfortunately not – all three sold out immediately when they were released.
Do you have any details on the final release in The Keystones Series?
There will be one final edition completing the series of five releases, each celebrating a different one of our five Keystones of production which combine to make Highland Park stand apart from other Single Malts. The quantity and purchase price will remain the same as for the other editions with 1,200 70cl bottles of each available at a UK price of £75 (plus postage).
When and how will the final edition be available to buy?
It is due to be released in next few months and as with the others, it will be exclusively released for purchase online by Inner Circle members who register their interest in advance. Keep an eye on our Inner Circle emails for details of the registration process.
