Instead of offering up our own tasting notes, we wanted to introduce a new way of tasting this whisky where you decide what it tastes like, and what it evokes in you. That’s why each bottle comes with a booklet designed to help you explore your own personal response to its flavours.
Björn Frantzén
Meet Björn. Ex-professional footballer, restaurateur and the only chef in the world to hold three Michelin stars at three restaurants simultaneously. He was the first person to taste Between You and I: Journeys, and its complex layers of flavour sparked memories of his wide travels across the globe in search of culinary inspiration.
The craft
This expression is led by first-fill French oak casks seasoned with red wine which bring a distinctly jammy depth to the whisky. These are complemented by the smooth vanilla notes of American sherry-seasoned oak, all rounded out with refill casks. The results are rich, fruity and beautifully balanced.
