Since 1798, we’ve crafted our award-winning, lightly-peated whisky at the Highland Park Distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney. Age, experience and respect for tradition may define our whisky, but it’s Orkney that sets it apart. From our island home, we harness the influence of the salty sea winds that shape Orkney’s coastlines, the intensely floral character of our heather-rich peat, and the finest sherry-seasoned oak casks, to create Highland Park’s uniquely complex balance of sweet and smoky flavours.

Every whisky in our classic collection reveals its own distinctive character, influenced by both casks and period of maturation. But you’ll also find our signature DNA running through every single Highland Park whisky we release – that unmistakable smoky sweetness driven by Orkney’s uniquely heather-rich peat.

From time to time, we launch whiskies to showcase our Master Whisky Maker’s skills in exploring particular cask, malt or peat influences, or to celebrate the communities we are part of. Produced in small batches, these editions are not only special, they’re also limited and therefore never (sorry!) re-released.
