Each of our single malt Scotch whiskies reveals its own unique character, based around the distinctive smoky sweetness that is the trademark of Highland Park. With our Explorers’ Selection, you’ll discover the flavours of three of our most iconic single malt Scotch whiskies – 12 Year Old, 18 Year Old and Dragon Legend.

Spicy and well-rounded, our 12 Year Old is matured predominantly in European and American sherry seasoned oak casks and is packed with the flavours of sun-kissed Seville oranges and rich fruitcake spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves; you’ll find molten heather honey in this whisky’s waves of heathery peat smoke.

Named by the American whisky expert, F Paul Pacult, as ‘Best Spirit in the World’ in Spirit Journal, Highland Park 18 Year Old is matured in a high proportion of first-fill sherry seasoned European and American oak casks. It delivers a sophisticated medley of ripe cherries dusted with bittersweet cocoa, freshly harvested honeycomb and candied orange peel. There’s a whisper of Orkney’s salty sea spray in the aromatic peat smoke.

Orkney is steeped in Norse folklore, which has inspired this whisky’s name and bold, dramatic character. Intensely smoky and rich, you’ll find notes of rich vanilla cream infused with warm winter spices, the tang of sun-ripened lemons glazed with sweet heather honey, and clouds of aromatic peat smoke. Matured slowly in sherry seasoned European oak casks and created with a higher proportion of Orkney peated malt.
