The Peedie Experience

Let us welcome you to Highland Park, meet our people, try our whisky, and learn about our island home. Inspired by the local word for small, the ‘peedie’ tasting is a 45 minute experience with our local host at the Highland Park Kirkwall store, right in the centre of Kirkwall. It’s a great opportunity to learn how we make our whisky and what makes it taste so distinctive.

It’s part skill, developed over hundreds of years (we’re at 225 years and counting) and part Orkney. We work hand-in-hand with nature to forge our traditions and our unique environment creates a different kind of whisky.

We’ll introduce you to Highland Park and you’ll learn more about Orkney and the role the islands play in shaping our whisky. We’ll show you a short film of our whisky making process and our local host will guide you through a tasting of a selection of our core range whiskies.
