The flavour
A deep expression of the whisky making tradition—and unique, smoky sweet flavour—we’ve been refining in Orkney for more than two hundred years. Ripe black cherries, dark chocolate and a hint of crushed oregano on the nose, followed by warm fruit and spice on the palate, from sweet, dried apricots to stem ginger and cloves, with intriguing hints of fresh eucalyptus and mint leaves. A spicy and complex finish, with lingering notes of cloves and mint, wrapped in fragrant smoke from our Orkney heathered peat.
