MAKING A DAY OF IT

In countries around the world, we’ll be showing our appreciation for special people in our lives on Mothers’ Day. Those people may come in all shapes and sizes but what they share is a place in our hearts and a day to be recognised for everything they do for us.

While we can’t guarantee that Mother’s Day will be warm and sunny, we can guarantee that our picnic-inspired serve and pairing ideas will work just as well around the kitchen table as they will in the great outdoors!

Try 12 Year Old as the key ingredient in an Old Fashioned with a salted honey twist, or 18 Year Old in our indulgent Cherry and Chocolate Old Fashioned. The Old Fashioned was originally created to put the whisky – rather than the serve’s other ingredients – centre stage, so it’s the perfect platform to showcase the wild harmony of flavours found in Highland Park.

Catering for a sweet tooth? Our take on a classic chocolate tiffin traybake adds a cheeky measure of 12 Year Old to the biscuit mix, bringing the flavours of candied orange peel and honeycomb chocolate deliciously to life. Or, if you’re looking for a savoury suggestion, then we recommend partnering 18 Year Old with Castello Marquis cheese, cinnamon crackers and blackberry jam. Our 21 Year Old also makes an incredible accompaniment to cheese – try it with Murcia al Vino, a fruity and wine-infused Spanish goat’s cheese that complements the whisky’s complex yet refined notes of ginger, orange, pear and honey.
