With its unique flavour profile driven by the high ratio of first-fill sherry seasoned European and American oak casks that we use, our 18 Year Old is the most consistently and highly awarded of our whiskies. In 2021, it received a Gold in the International Spirits Challenge as well as an ‘Extraordinary’ Ultimate Recommendation (with a score of 96) in the Ultimate Spirits Challenge, accompanied by the comment, ‘Simply put, this is as good as it gets.’

Or why not buy a bottle as an indulgent treat for yourself. 18 Year Old is, of course, superb on its own but why not try it accompanied by a bowl of ripe cherries (if they’re in season where you are) or for a really intriguing flavour experience, squares of dark chocolate – the higher the cocoa content the better – and just a few flakes of sea salt. For a savoury experience, 18 Year Old is fantastic with a handful of honey-roast nuts (we like cashews) or for a bigger snack, try pairing it with a hard, nutty cheese such as Westray Wife (if you’re local to Orkney) or a Manchego or Comte from your local deli.
