Yesnaby

Despite its high latitude, Orkney enjoys mild winters and cool summers thanks to the North Atlantic Gulf Drift. This is, fortunately for us (and you), ideal for making whisky. The lack of extremes in climate means cask maturation plays out at a cooler temperature, and at an even pace.

As part of a series that showcases our 5 keystones of production, we created Yesnaby to celebrate our unique cool maturation process. Made from just 3 2005 vintage, first-fill sherry seasoned oak casks and bottled at 58.9% ABV, this exceptional single malt exhibits flavours of rich and dusty vanilla, light camphor, sweet heathery smoke and exotic spices. Only 1,200 bottles were released.
